what is alarming is that viacom doesn't intervene and reprimand dan rather. the news division (and network) may never recover from this blow to its integrity.
it means a potential loss of revenue, and when properly addressed, it may be too late.

You seem to be convinced that the documents are, in fact, forged. The right-wing assault on the authenticity of the documents is not only politically motivated, but it's a required move on their part! They *have* to attack those documents with the same vigor that the left-wing must support them. That's the political game, but it's not necessarily the truth. Not even Dan Rather knows the truth, at this point, and the media chatter surrounding the documents only adds to the confusion.

yes, i believe the documents are forged. several experts have all agreed that this is the case. who am i to argue?
