the afghanistan skirmish

the raid on afghanistan yielded the draft books which were invaluable for intimate knowledge of the terrorists. it yielded names, addresses phone numbers - most of which weren't in service. however, the contact information is what has led the CIA/NSA/FBI to successfully track these terrorists around the globe.

the problem arises trying to track the IP addresses of those virtual websites which host terror information. some are located in "high risk" areas. other sites are updated from public internet cafes around the world.

luckily though, monitoring groups have sprung up in the USA who feed information they find to the US government for almost little to no cost.
