election day

a few weeks ago i postulated to my father that, in my opinion, america's most vulnerable time in the near future will be november 2nd.

we will have tens of thousands of polling places open throughout the day without security. even if the US posted a guard at each one - if a car bomb explodes, and it doesn't have to be big, it would definitely discourage pollers around the area, and those people farther west, from voting.

Polling places in large cities are gatherings of individuals in an unstructured enviroment. there people mulling around and at peak hours - early morning, lunch time and after work - the best way to invoke terror would be to hit a few. these polling places are sitting ducks. my father disagrees.. time will tell.

This maybe why a few democrats have requested United Nations oversight of the elections. Actually, the UN might just take over Florida, which is STILL such a mess. Just today (8-22-4) in the New York Daily News there is an article on residents of New York who are double registered in Florida. This speaks volumes about Jeb Bush..
