Elections

I'll have more to say when these elections are over. It's cliche, but all the spin has made me dizzy. Everyone has their opinions and each opinion, though valid is researched to different depths.

My only wish is that people perform their civic duty and then pray that whoever wins is the right person for the job, especially if the dirt hits the fan.

I've always felt that Clinton was perfect for his era, Reagan for his, and Bush 43 in this era. One talent the Republicans haven't mastered is public relations. Democrats have, and it shows. It *seems* like a junta, just the way it *seems* that there is some illegality between Cheney and Halliburton. I defer to the Annenberg website factcheck.org which is an independent entity weeding out the truth from fiction. No small task, but this site does a great job. They indicate that Cheney has done no legal wrongdoing. As for the rest of "making his buddies rich" well, that could be a different story.

Anyway, I know that my idea to pray for the BEST President is open to ridicule, but I think prayer works and this country needs a lot of it.
